Pyramids
&
The Sphinx

As you may already know, The Pyramids of Giza is one of the 7 surviving wonders of the world. Those wonders are placed with careful consideration, as their entrances are aligned with the Pole Star (with its 4500 years ago position). There are 3 main Pyramids, Khufu, the oldest and largest one, Khafre, the middle one and Menkaure, the smallest.

In addition to the 3 Pyramids, The Sphinx, the famous statue made from soft limestone, with a lion's body and a human's head can also be found on site.

KHAN EL KHALILI BAZAAR

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which is 12 Km from Downtown Cairo, is considered to be the heart of Islamic Cairo. The Khan El Khalili Bazaar is named after "Khalil", who founded a caravanserai in that same place in 1382 and is considered to be the oldest open-air market in the Middle East. Through the lanes of Khan El Khalili, you can find the workshops and warehouses of antique shops, jewelers and Goldsmiths. In addition, leather products, oriental musical instruments, oriental perfumes, and spices and herbs can be found.
