9 hours is a famous hotel in Kyoto, Japan, and is a very minimal, sleek, and futuristic hotel. What makes this hotel so special is that the entire hotel is entirely white. Because of its color and the graphic signage throughout the whole hotel, it brings out a Sci-fi feel once you enter it.

Furthermore, when it comes to the rooms, well, you can hardly call them rooms as they look more like sleeping pods. Each of these sleeping pods is 153cm- height, 34cm- width, and 60cm- depth. Each of these sleeping pods comes with a white sheet, pillow, duvet, and slippers, and of course, the capsules are fully air-conditioned. Besides that, you get free Wi-Fi and power outlets inside your capsule, and you also get a locker outside the capsule to store your belongings in.

The bathrooms come with branded hotel products, mirrors, hairdryers, and the sinks are probably good enough to sleep on; they are that clean! The showers come with small drying areas and frosted glass doors and shelves to store your clothes.

This hotel is also taking specific steps to fight COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of their customers. They use chemicals that are effective against COVID-19 to clean the entire hotel. All guest accommodations are disinfected between stays; cashless payments are made available; screens are used to protect both staff and customers, and provide masks sanitizers to guests.

This particular hotel is situated in Taipei, Taiwan, and has rooms separated into two sections, males and females. You can choose between a double bed capsule and a superior capsule.

Once you enter the room, you will see 16 pods in a straight line and some above the other. You will have access to code security lockers for your luggage. There's a shared bathroom with many cubicles, cutting down on the chances of a congested bathroom. 

You can either choose a top capsule or a bottom capsule. Now, the exciting part is inside the capsule. These capsules are designed in a way that it looks like it's from a star wars movie. They are entirely white and have blue lights in them.

The capsule room has some great features, such as a TV at the foot of the bed, a light and airflow controller, and power sockets. The size of a room is 25 sq. ft. and is not that compact and does not make you feel claustrophobic at all; in fact, you can even sit upon it.  There's a large white sliding door which you can use to close the opening of the pod; this door automatically locks once you close it and

Some other extra facilities you get are free Wi-Fi, toiletries, and slippers. They also have laundry machines, dryers, vending machines, bar/lounge, and massage centers.
